Both expensive and inexpensive. This is an excellent scope. Especially for what you pay for it. I Took this scope out of the package and mounted it on my Marlin 22 LR. I Never bore sighted or even sighted it in and I was picking reflective hunting tacks off of a target consistently at 60 yrds. The green reticle is a little bright on its lowest setting for my taste but still works very well.
